Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody PCRP-ZNF81-2G2 Detection in HeLa Cervical Cancer Cells IF. Immunofluorescence staining of PFA-fixed human HeLa cervical cancer cells using Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody, clone PCRP-ZNF81-2G2 (green), with phalloidin staining of the actin cytoskeleton (red). The image shows strong green immunoreactivity distributed throughout the cells, with prominent nuclear and cytoplasmic staining, while red phalloidin delineates cell boundaries and the actin cytoskeleton. The observed pattern demonstrates cellular detection by this ZNF81 Transcription Factor Antibody under the tested conditions.
Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody PCRP-ZNF81-2G2 Detection in HeLa Cervical Cancer Cells FACS. Flow cytometry analysis of PFA-fixed human HeLa cervical cancer cells using Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody, clone PCRP-ZNF81-2G2. The blue antibody-stained population shows a clear rightward shift in fluorescence intensity relative to the red isotype control, with good separation between the two distributions. The result demonstrates detection by this ZNF81 Transcription Factor Antibody under the tested conditions.
Purified Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody PCRP-ZNF81-2G2 Under Reducing and Non-Reducing Conditions. SDS-PAGE analysis of 2 ug of purified, BSA-free Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody, clone PCRP-ZNF81-2G2, under reducing (R) and non-reducing (NR) conditions. Under reducing conditions, prominent heavy- and light-chain bands are visible at approximately 50 kDa and 25 kDa, respectively. Under non-reducing conditions, the intact antibody migrates predominantly between 150 and 250 kDa. The observed banding pattern supports the integrity and purity of the monoclonal ZNF81 Transcription Factor Antibody preparation.
Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody PCRP-ZNF81-2G2 Protein Microarray Validated. Protein microarray analysis of Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody, clone PCRP-ZNF81-2G2, using a HuProt array containing more than 19,000 full-length human proteins. ZNF81 produced a Z-score of 11.31 and an S-score of 5.43, showing clear preferential recognition of the intended target over the next-highest array signal. The Z-score represents signal strength in standard deviations above the mean array signal, while the S-score represents the difference between the intended target Z-score and the next-highest Z-score and therefore reflects relative target specificity. The results support proteome-wide specificity of this ZNF81 Transcription Factor Antibody.

Description

Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody PCRP-ZNF81-2G2 / ZNF81 Transcription Factor Antibody recognizes zinc finger protein 81 (ZNF81), a member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc finger protein family. ZNF81 contains 12 C2H2-type zinc finger motifs together with a Krueppel-associated box (KRAB) domain. This combination of DNA-binding zinc finger motifs and a transcriptional regulatory domain places ZNF81 within a large family of proteins involved in controlling gene expression and chromatin-associated processes.

C2H2 zinc finger proteins use tandem zinc finger domains to recognize nucleic acid sequences and participate in diverse aspects of transcriptional regulation. In KRAB-containing family members, the KRAB domain can interact with transcriptional corepressors such as KAP1/TRIM28. KAP1 functions as a scaffold for chromatin-regulatory proteins, including factors involved in histone modification and heterochromatin formation. Through these interactions, KRAB zinc finger proteins can contribute to transcriptional repression and regulation of local chromatin states.

ZNF81 is encoded on the X chromosome and has also been described by the historical names HFZ20 and MRX45. Genetic alterations affecting ZNF81 have been investigated in association with X-linked neurodevelopmental phenotypes. The specific genomic targets and regulatory functions of ZNF81 remain comparatively less characterized than those of many established transcription factors, but its KRAB and C2H2 domain architecture supports its classification as a transcriptional regulatory protein. The protein therefore provides a target for studies of zinc finger biology, gene regulation, chromatin-associated mechanisms, and neurodevelopmental genetics.

Clone PCRP-ZNF81-2G2 is a mouse monoclonal antibody generated against recombinant full-length human ZNF81 protein. NSJ Bioreagents offers this Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody for researchers investigating ZNF81 expression and transcriptional regulation. A Zinc Finger Protein 81 Antibody targeting this ZNF81 transcriptional regulator provides an additional clone for investigating the biology of this KRAB-containing C2H2 zinc finger protein.

For an alternative ZNF81 monoclonal clone with strong protein microarray validation, see our ZNF81 Antibody PCRP-ZNF81-2C7 / KRAB Zinc Finger Antibody page.
