Description

This gene belongs to the septin family of GTPases. Members of this family are required for cytokinesis. Expression is upregulated by retinoic acid in a human teratocarcinoma cell line. The specific function of this gene has not been determined. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the SEPT3 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Recombinant human protein (amino acids M1-E339) was used as the immunogen for the SEPT3 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the SEPT3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
