Recombinant PD-L1 Antibody in Multi-Species Lung WB. Western blot testing of Recombinant PD-L1 Antibody in lung tissue lysates from human, mouse, rat, hamster, guinea pig and rabbit. A prominent band is detected in the human lung sample at approximately 45 kDa, consistent with the extensively glycosylated mature form of PD-L1/CD274. Little to no corresponding signal is observed in the other species under the tested conditions. This Recombinant PD-L1 Antibody demonstrates strong detection of human PD-L1 with minimal cross-reactivity in the tested non-human lung samples.
Recombinant PD-L1 Antibody in Human Lung WB. Western blot testing of Recombinant PD-L1 Antibody in human lung tissue lysate. A prominent band is observed at approximately 45 kDa, above the predicted molecular weight of ~33 kDa for unmodified PD-L1/CD274. This higher apparent molecular weight is consistent with the extensive N-linked glycosylation of mature PD-L1, which commonly produces a glycosylated protein migrating at approximately 45-55 kDa. This Recombinant PD-L1 Antibody demonstrates detection of the mature glycosylated form of PD-L1 in human lung tissue.

Description

PD-L1 is a checkpoint regulator in immune cells, it is expressed on immune or non-hematopoietic cells. Expression of the protein is seen during pregnancy where it has a role in suppressing the immune system. PD-L1 induces an inhibitory signal in activated T-cells and promotes T-cell apoptosis. It is overexpressed in a number of different cancers where it is believed to play a significant role in the cancer s ability to evade the immune system.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the recombinant PD-L1 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

A linear peptide specific to human PD-L1 was used as the immunogen for the recombinant PD-L1 antibody.

Storage

Store the recombinant PD-L1 antibody at 2-8oC (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20oC or colder (without azide).
