CD31 Antibody THP-1 WB. Western blot analysis of THP-1 cell lysate using CD31 Antibody clone C31/1395R detects a prominent band at approximately 130 kDa, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of Platelet Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 (PECAM1/CD31). The observed signal is consistent with CD31 expression in monocytic lineage cells and reflects the established role of this cell-surface adhesion molecule in leukocyte migration, immune cell interactions, and vascular-associated signaling pathways.
CD31 Antibody Protein Microarray Specificity Validation. Analysis of a HuProt(TM) protein microarray containing more than 19,000 full-length human proteins using CD31 Antibody clone C31/1395R demonstrates highly specific recognition of Platelet Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 (PECAM1/CD31). PECAM1 was identified as the top-ranked target with a Z-score of 77.07 and an S-score of 50.92, indicating exceptional target selectivity and a large separation from all non-target proteins on the array. These results support the specificity of C31/1395R for CD31 and demonstrate minimal off-target reactivity under the conditions tested.

CD31 is found on the surface of platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, and some types of T-cells, and makes up a large portion of endothelial cell intercellular junctions. It is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is likely involved in leukocyte migration, angiogenesis, and integrin activation. [RefSeq]

Application Notes

Titering of the recombinant CD31 antibody may be required for optimal performance.

1. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.

Storage
