Myelin Basic Protein Antibody in Rat and Mouse Brain WB. Western blot testing of rat and mouse brain tissue lysates with Myelin Basic Protein Antibody / MBP [clone IIE-13]. Lane 1: rat brain; Lane 2: mouse brain. Samples were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and the antibody was used at 1:500 overnight at 4oC. A goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody was used at 1:5000. Specific bands corresponding to MBP isoforms were detected at approximately 16-22 kDa in both samples. This Myelin Basic Protein Antibody demonstrates detection of MBP in rat and mouse brain tissue.
