IKKI Antibody recognizes inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit epsilon (IKBKE), also known as IKK epsilon, IKKE, or IKK-i, a non-canonical serine/threonine kinase that plays a central role in innate immune signaling and antiviral defense. IKKI is activated downstream of pattern recognition receptors, including Toll-like receptors, RIG-I-like receptors, and the cGAS-STING pathway, where it phosphorylates transcription factors such as IRF3 and IRF7 to promote production of type I interferons and other inflammatory mediators. As a result, IKKI Antibody is widely used to investigate host defense mechanisms, inflammatory signaling, and immune regulation.
Beyond antiviral immunity, IKKI regulates multiple cellular processes including proliferation, survival, autophagy, and metabolic signaling through pathways involving NF-kappaB, AKT, and STAT. Increased IKBKE expression or constitutive kinase activation has been reported in numerous malignancies, including breast, ovarian, lung, and pancreatic cancers, where it contributes to oncogenic signaling and resistance to apoptosis. These findings have established IKKI as an important therapeutic target in both cancer and inflammatory disease research.
IKKI functions closely with the related kinase TBK1 to coordinate innate immune responses while maintaining immune homeostasis. Dysregulation of this signaling network has been implicated in autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, and impaired antiviral immunity. Consequently, IKKI Antibody is a valuable research tool for studies of interferon signaling, cytokine regulation, kinase biology, inflammation, and tumor progression.

Optimal dilution of the IKKI antibody should be determined by the researcher.
A human recombinant partial protein (amino acids Q318-V716) was used as the immunogen for the IKKI antibody.
After reconstitution, the IKKI antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
