IKKI Antibody recognizes inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit epsilon (IKBKE), also known as IKK epsilon, IKKE, or IKK-i, a non-canonical serine/threonine kinase that plays a central role in innate immune signaling and antiviral defense. IKKI is activated downstream of pattern recognition receptors, including Toll-like receptors, RIG-I-like receptors, and the cGAS-STING pathway, where it phosphorylates transcription factors such as IRF3 and IRF7 to promote production of type I interferons and other inflammatory mediators. As a result, IKKI Antibody is widely used to investigate host defense mechanisms, inflammatory signaling, and immune regulation.
Beyond antiviral immunity, IKKI regulates multiple cellular processes including proliferation, survival, autophagy, and metabolic signaling through pathways involving NF-kappaB, AKT, and STAT.
