Human IgG Antibody Clone IG217 Human Serum WB. Western blot analysis was performed using Human IgG Antibody (clone IG217) on human serum lysate. A distinct immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 50–55 kDa, consistent with the expected molecular weight of the human IgG heavy chain. The blot exhibits a strong, specific signal with minimal background, supporting reliable detection of endogenous human IgG in serum samples. These results demonstrate that Human IgG Antibody clone IG217 is suitable for Western blot detection of human IgG in serum.
Human IgG Antibody Clone IG217 Human Tonsil IHC. Immunohistochemistry was performed on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue using Human IgG Antibody (clone IG217). Strong cytoplasmic staining is observed in scattered plasma cells within the tonsillar lymphoid tissue, while the surrounding lymphocyte population exhibits minimal background staining. This staining pattern is consistent with the expected expression of human IgG in antibody-producing plasma cells. These results demonstrate that Human IgG Antibody clone IG217 is suitable for immunohistochemical detection of human IgG in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tissues.

Application Notes

The optimal dilution of the Human IgG Antibody Clone IG217 for each application should be determined by the researcher.

1. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
2. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.

Immunogen

Purified human Ig Gamma Chain was used as the immunogen for this IgG antibody.

Storage

Store the IgG antibody at 2-8oC (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20oC or colder (without azide).
