EZH2 Antibody Renal Cell Carcinoma RCC IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE human renal cell carcinoma tissue with EZH2 antibody (clone EZH2/7507). HIER: boil tissue sections in pH 9 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA for 20 min and allow to cool before testing.

EZH2 Antibody Tissue and Cell Line WB. Western blot analysis of HDLM-2, human tonsil, and human placenta lysates using EZH2 / KMT6 recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody detects prominent bands within the approximately 70-100 kDa range, consistent with reported EZH2 expression and the commonly observed heterogeneous migration pattern of this chromatin-associated histone methyltransferase. Multiple closely migrating bands and broad signal distribution may reflect post-translational modification, including phosphorylation, as well as heterogeneous chromatin-associated forms of EZH2; detection was performed with clone EZH2/7507.

Description

EZH2 Antibody detects Enhancer of zeste homolog 2, a member of the Polycomb-group (PcG) family. PcG family members form multimeric protein complexes, which are involved in maintaining the transcriptional repressive state of genes over successive cell generations. This protein associates with the embryonic ectoderm development protein, the VAV1 oncoprotein, and the X-linked nuclear protein. This protein may play a role in the hematopoietic and central nervous systems. Multiple alternatively splcied transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.

Immunogen

A recombinant partial protein sequence (within amino acids 300-550) from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the EZH2 antibody.
