DSTN belongs to the actin-binding proteins ADF family. This family of proteins is responsible for enhancing the turnover rate of actin in vivo. This protein encodes the actin depolymerizing protein that severs actin filaments (F-actin) and binds to actin monomers (G-actin).
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the Destrin antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 70-98 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the Destrin antibody.
Aliquot the Destrin antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
