Description

Beclin1-BH3 plays a central role in autophagy (By similarity). It may play a role in antiviral host defense. Protects against infection by a neurovirulent strain of Sindbis virus.

Application Notes

Titration of the Beclin1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 95-132 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this Beclin1 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the Beclin1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
