ATG7 Antibody Human Colon IHC. Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded human colon tissue using ATG7 Antibody. Strong cytoplasmic staining is observed throughout the colonic epithelial cells lining the crypts, while the surrounding stromal tissue exhibits comparatively low background staining. These results demonstrate that this antibody is suitable for immunohistochemical detection of ATG7 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human colon tissue.
ATG7 Antibody Human Cell Line WB. Western blot analysis was performed using ATG7 Antibody on human HeLa, Jurkat, HepG2, and MCF-7 cell lysates. A prominent immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 78 kDa in all tested cell lines, consistent with the expected molecular weight of ATG7. Band intensity varies modestly between cell types, reflecting differences in endogenous ATG7 expression. These results demonstrate that this antibody is suitable for Western blot detection of ATG7 in multiple human cell lines.
ATG7 Antibody HEK293 Cell WB. Western blot analysis was performed using ATG7 Antibody on human HEK293 cell lysate. A strong immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 78 kDa, consistent with the expected molecular weight of ATG7. The blot exhibits a clean signal with minimal background, supporting specific detection of endogenous ATG7 in HEK293 cells. These results demonstrate that this antibody is suitable for Western blot detection of ATG7 in human cell lysates.

A distinct immunoreactive band is detected at approximately 78 kDa, consistent with the expected molecular weight of ATG7. These results demonstrate that this antibody is suitable for Western blot detection of ATG7 in human cell lysates.

Description

ATG7 is an E1-like activating enzyme involved in the 2 ubiquitin-like systems required for cytoplasm to vacuole transport (Cvt) and autophagy. Activates ATG12 for its conjugation with ATG5 as well as the ATG8 family proteins for their conjugation with phosphatidylethanolamine. Both systems are needed for the ATG8 association to Cvt vesicles and autophagosomes membranes. [UniProt]
