Description

Autophagy is a process of bulk degradation of cytoplasmic components by the lysosomal/vacuolar system. ATG7 is a ubiquitin-activating enzyme E1-like protein essential for the Apg12 conjugation system that mediates membrane fusion in autophagy. [OMIM]

Application Notes

Titration of the ATG7 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 494-523 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this ATG7 antibody.

Storage
