Description

Autophagy related 12 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ATG12 gene. Autophagy is a process of bulk protein degradation in which cytoplasmic components, including organelles, are enclosed in double-membrane structures called autophagosomes and delivered to lysosomes or vacuoles for degradation. ATG12 is the human homolog of a yeast protein involved in autophagy.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the ATG12 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids M68-Q99) was used as the immunogen for the ATG12 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the ATG12 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
