Description

GTF2I is a multifunctional phosphoprotein with roles in transcription and signal transduction. It is deleted in Williams-Beuren syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by the deletion of contiguous genes at chromosome 7q11.23.

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the GTF2I antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 956-985 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the GTF2I antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the GTF2I antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
