Zebrafish TG Antibody Thyroglobulin WB. Western blot analysis of zebrafish head tissue lysate using Zebrafish TG Antibody demonstrates a predominant high molecular weight band at approximately 300-305 kDa, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of Thyroglobulin / TG. Additional lower molecular weight immunoreactive bands are observed and may represent processed, partially degraded, or incompletely denatured thyroglobulin-related species commonly associated with large glycoproteins in tissue lysates. TG is a thyroid hormone precursor protein involved in T3 and T4 biosynthesis within thyroid follicular tissue. Electrophoresis was performed on an 8% SDS-PAGE gel under reducing conditions followed by transfer to a nitrocellulose membrane. Signal was detected using an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and enhanced chemiluminescent substrate. Predicted molecular weight: ~299 kDa.

Zebrafish TG Antibody / Thyroglobulin recognizes Thyroglobulin (TG), a large glycoprotein that serves as the principal precursor molecule for thyroid hormone synthesis. Immunogen

An E.coli-derived Zebrafish Thyroglobulin/TG recombinant protein (amino acids E1839-E2513) was used as the immunogen for the Zebrafish TG Antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the Zebrafish TG Antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
