Y-box-binding protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the YBX2 gene. This gene encodes a nucleic acid binding protein which is highly expressed in germ cells. The encoded protein binds to a Y-box element in the promoters of certain genes but also binds to mRNA transcribed from these genes. Pseudogenes for this gene are located on chromosome 10 and 15.
Optimal dilution of the YBX2 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids E211-E364) was used as the immunogen for the YBX2 antibody.
After reconstitution, the YBX2 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
