DNA repair protein XRCC2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the XRCC2 gene. This gene encodes a member of the RecA/Rad51-related protein family that participates in homologous recombination to maintain chromosome stability and repair DNA damage. This gene is involved in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks by homologous recombination and it functionally complements Chinese hamster irs1, a repair-deficient mutant that exhibits hypersensitivity to a number of different DNA-damaging agents.
Optimal dilution of the XRCC2 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Recombinant mouse protein (amino acids K54-K259) was used as the immunogen for the XRCC2 antibody.
After reconstitution, the XRCC2 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
