VEGFR2 ( also called CD309, KDR3, and Flk-1) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and is mainly expressed by endothelial cells, embryonic tissues, and megakaryocytes. As a receptor for VEGF proteins, it plays an important role in the regulation of angiogenesis, vasculogenesis, and vascular permeability.
Variations in protocols, secondaries and substrates may require the VEGFR2 antibody to be titered for optimal performance.
Recombinant human VEGFR2 protein was used as the immunogen for this antibody.
Store the VEGFR2 antibody at 2-8oC (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20oC or colder (without azide).
