Description

USP17 recognizes and hydrolyzes the peptide bond at the C-terminal Gly of ubiquitin. Involved in the processing of poly-ubiquitin precursors as well as that of ubiquinated proteins (By similarity).

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the USP17L24 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 496-524 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the USP17L24 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the USP17L24 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
