TRPS1 Antibody for IF / Tricho-Rhino-Phalangeal Syndrome Type I IF Antibody. Immunofluorescence analysis in human MCF7 cells. FFPE human MCF7 cells stained with TRPS1 Antibody for IF show strong nuclear fluorescence (green), consistent with TRPS1 localization as a transcription factor. Co-staining with Alpha Tubulin monoclonal antibody (red) highlights the cytoskeletal network, providing clear contrast for subcellular localization. Antigen retrieval was performed using pH6 citrate buffer with heat-induced epitope retrieval prior to staining, supporting high-resolution fluorescence imaging of TRPS1 distribution within epithelial cancer cells.

Description

Zinc finger transcription factor Trps1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TRPS1 gene. This gene encodes a transcription factor that represses GATA-regulated genes and binds to a dynein light chain protein. Binding of the encoded protein to the dynein light chain protein affects binding to GATA consensus sequences and suppresses its transcriptional activity. Defects in this gene are a cause of tricho-rhino-phalangeal syndrome (TRPS) types I-III.
