Description

This gene encodes 'Thymocyte-expressed molecule involved in selection' a protein that plays a regulatory role in both positive and negative T-cell selection during late thymocyte development. The protein functions through T-cell antigen receptor signaling, and is necessary for proper lineage commitment and maturation of T-cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Optimal dilution of the THEMIS antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids Q74-H588) was used as the immunogen for the THEMIS antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the THEMIS antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
