TDRD7, also known as Tudor domain containing protein 7, is a component of chromatoid bodies in spermatids (named processing bodies or P-bodies in somatic cells). It is found in a mRNP complex together with TDRD1, TDRD6 and DDX4. It is also found in a complex with CABLES1, PCTK2 and PIWIL1. TDRD7 has been shown to interact with histone H3 tri-methylated at K9 in vitro.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the TDRD7 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 807-835 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the TDRD7 antibody.
Aliquot the TDRD7 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
