Transforming acidic coiled-coil-containing protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TACC1 gene. This locus may represent a breast cancer candidate gene. It is located close to FGFR1 on a region of chromosome 8 that is amplified in some breast cancers. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Optimal dilution of the TACC1 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Amino acids 196-235 (MTEGSMGVTLEASAEADLKAGNSCPELVPSRRSKLRKPKP-human) were used as the immunogen for the TACC1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the TACC1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
