This antibody reacts to Histone H4 symmetric dimethylated at Arginine 3 (R3me2s). No cross reactivity with unmodified Arginine 3, monomethylated or asymmetric dimethylated Arginine 3, or other methylated Arginine in Histone H4.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the recombinant Symmetric Dimethyl-Histone H4 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A symmetric dimethyl-Arginine 3 peptide from Histone H4 (Arg3) was used as the immunogen for the Symmetric Dimethyl-Histone H4 antibody.
