SPDYA (speedy homolog A (Drosophila)) regulates the G1/S phase transition of the cell cycle by binding and activating CDC2, CDK2 and CDKN1B/KIP1. SPDYA can activate CDK2 without promoting CDK2 phosphorylation. SPDYA mediates cell survival during the DNA damage process through activation of CDK2.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the Speedy protein A antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 147-175 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the Speedy protein A antibody.
Aliquot the Speedy protein A antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
