SNW1 is highly relevant in cancer and cell proliferation studies because altered expression or dysregulation of transcriptional and RNA splicing machinery can contribute to oncogenic transformation, epithelial plasticity, and abnormal signaling pathway activation. Increased SNW1 expression has been associated with several tumor types including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and other malignancies where transcriptional adaptation and RNA processing are linked to aggressive cellular behavior. Immunofluorescence analysis with clone PCRP-SNW1-1C12 demonstrates prominent cytoplasmic staining with additional nuclear signal in human HeLa cells, consistent with published reports describing dynamic nuclear and cytoplasmic localization of SNW1. Protein microarray validation further supports the specificity profile of this mouse monoclonal antibody for research applications involving transcriptional regulation proteins and RNA processing-associated factors. An antibody targeting SNW1 can therefore support investigations into spliceosome biology, intracellular signaling regulation, transcriptional coactivator complexes, and cancer-associated RNA processing mechanisms.
