Description

This gene encodes a multi-domain secreted protein that may have a critical role in ocular and limb development. Mutations in this gene are associated with microphthalmia and limb anomalies. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the SMOC1 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids H27-V434) was used as the immunogen for the SMOC1 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the SMOC1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
