Description

Mediates equilibrative transport of purine, pyrimidine nucleosides and the purine base hypoxanthine. Very less sensitive than SLC29A1 to inhibition by nitrobenzylthioinosine (NBMPR), dipyridamole, dilazep and draflazine.

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the SLC29A2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

Recombinant human protein was used as the immunogen for the SLC29A2 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the SLC29A2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
