Protein sel-1 homolog 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SEL1L gene. The protein encoded by this gene is part of a protein complex required for the retrotranslocation or dislocation of misfolded proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum lumen to the cytosol, where they are degraded by the proteasome in a ubiquitin-dependent manner. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Optimal dilution of the SEL1L antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids E105-E723) was used as the immunogen for the SEL1L antibody.
After reconstitution, the SEL1L antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
