S100 calcium binding protein P (S100P), also known as migration inducing gene 9 (MIG9), is a member of the S100 family of EF-hand calcium-binding proteins encoded by the S100P gene. S100P Antibody for WB enables detection of S100 Calcium Binding Protein P in cell and tissue lysates using western blotting, allowing researchers to evaluate S100P protein expression levels in experimental samples. This small calcium-binding protein participates in signaling pathways that regulate cellular proliferation, migration, survival, and cytoskeletal dynamics.
