The Runt family of transcription factors is involved in both normal cell development and carcinogenesis. Runt-related transcription factor 3 has been shown to be a tumor suppressor. Hypermethylation and mislocalization of the protein to the cytoplasm leads to low levels of RUNX3 and increased proliferation of breast and gastric tumor cells.
Provided assay concentrations are suggestions only, RUNX3 antibody titration may be required for optimal results.
A RUNX3 recombinant protein fragment was used as the immunogen for this antibody.
Aliquot the RUNX3 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
