The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine protein kinase that interacts with protein kinase C-delta. The encoded protein can also activate NFkappaB and is required for keratinocyte differentiation. This kinase undergoes autophosphorylation.
Titration of the RIPK4 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 802-832 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this RIPK4 antibody.
Aliquot the RIPK4 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
