Retinol binding protein 1, cellular, also known as RBP1, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RBP1 gene. This gene encodes the carrier protein involved in the transport of retinol (vitamin A alcohol) from the liver storage site to peripheral tissue. Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin necessary for growth, reproduction, differentiation of epithelial tissues, and vision. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Optimal dilution of the Retinol Binding Protein 1 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids K10-Q135) was used as the immunogen for the Retinol Binding Protein 1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the Retinol Binding Protein 1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
