Recombinant Spectrin beta III antibody detects spectrin beta chain non-erythrocytic 2, encoded by the SPTBN2 gene. Spectrin beta III is a large cytoskeletal protein that forms heterotetramers with alpha spectrin to support plasma membrane integrity and organization.
