Description

This antibody reacts to human Glutamate Receptor 1 (GluR1), also called AMPA Receptor, only when phosphorylated at Ser845. There is no cross-reactivity to GluR1 that is not phosphorylated at Ser845. This antibody may also react to mouse or rat phospho-GluR1 (Ser845) as predicted by immunogen homology.

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the recombinant phospho-GluR1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A peptide corresponding to the amino acids surrounding phosphorylated serine 845 from the human protien was used as the immunogen for the recombinant phospho-GluR1 antibody.

Storage

Store the recombinant phospho-GluR1 antibody at -20oC.
