Recombinant FABP5 Antibody HeLa WB. Western blot testing of human HeLa cell lysate using recombinant FABP5 antibody (clone rFABP5/6354). Predicted molecular weight ~15 kDa.
Recombinant FABP5 Antibody Skeletal Muscle Immunohistochemistry. IHC staining of FFPE human skeletal muscle tissue with recombinant FABP5 antibody (clone rFABP5/6354). HIER: boil tissue sections in pH 9 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA for 20 min and allow to cool before testing.
Recombinant FABP5 Antibody Esophagus Immunohistochemistry. IHC staining of FFPE human esophagus tissue with recombinant FABP5 antibody (clone rFABP5/6354). HIER: boil tissue sections in pH 9 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA for 20 min and allow to cool before testing.
SDS-PAGE analysis of purified, BSA-free recombinant FABP5 antibody (clone rFABP5/6354) as confirmation of integrity and purity.
Recombinant FABP5 Antibody Cell and Tissue WB. Western blot analysis of human brain, human skin, HeLa, and Raji lysates using FABP5 antibody clone rFABP5/6354. A distinct band is detected at approximately 15 kDa across all tested samples, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of Fatty acid-binding protein 5 / FABP5. The broad expression pattern aligns with the known role of FABP5 in intracellular fatty acid transport, epidermal lipid metabolism, and cellular energy regulation in both epithelial tissues and proliferative cell populations.
Recombinant FABP5 Antibody Multi-Species Skin WB. Western blot analysis of human skin, mouse skin, rat skin, hamster skin, guinea pig skin, and rabbit skin tissue lysates using FABP5 antibody clone rFABP5/6354. A band is detected at approximately 15 kDa across multiple species, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of Fatty acid-binding protein 5 / FABP5. The conserved skin expression pattern supports the established role of FABP5 in epidermal lipid transport, keratinocyte metabolism, and cutaneous barrier-associated fatty acid signaling pathways.

Description

The FABP5 gene encodes the fatty acid binding protein found in epidermal cells, and was first identified as being upregulated in psoriasis tissue. Additionally, FABP5 gene is upregulated in colorectal cancer cells compared to normal colon cells in a manner that correlates with disease stage and that FABP5 significantly promotes colorectal cancer cell growth and metastatic potential.

Explore our central FABP5 antibody page for additional western blot, immunohistochemistry, and microarray specificity validation data supporting studies of lipid transport, epidermal biology, and metabolic signaling pathways.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the recombinant FABP5 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Recombinant human full-length FABP5 protein was used as the immunogen for the recombinant FABP5 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the recombinant FABP5 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
