CD45RA antibody targets CD45RA, a distinct isoform of the Leukocyte common antigen encoded by PTPRC. CD45 is a transmembrane receptor-type tyrosine phosphatase expressed on nearly all leukocytes and is indispensable for adaptive immune signaling. CD45RA antibody detects the exon A-containing isoform, which is characteristic of naive T cells and certain early-stage lymphocyte populations.
Alternative splicing of the PTPRC gene generates multiple CD45 isoforms that differ in extracellular sequence composition. CD45RA retains exon A and exhibits a specific glycosylation profile. The cytoplasmic phosphatase domains regulate activation signals by modulating Src family kinase phosphorylation states. CD45RA antibody is frequently utilized in immunologic studies to distinguish naive T cells from central and effector memory T cells, where CD45RO predominates.
Changes in CD45 isoform distribution are associated with immune senescence, infection, and hematologic malignancies. CD45RA antibody enables precise analysis of leukocyte differentiation states and immune compartment dynamics in research applications.
Optimal dilution of the recombinant CD45RA antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Recombinant full-length human PTPRC protein was used as the immunogen for the recombinant CD45RA antibody.
Aliquot the recombinant CD45RA antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
