This PTCRA gene is mapped to 6p21.1. Pre T-cell antigen receptor alpha is a single-pass type I membrane protein that is found in immmature but not mature T-cells. Along with TCRB and CD3 complex, the encoded protein forms the pre-T-cell receptor complex, which regulates early T-cell development. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Optimal dilution of the PTCRA antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Amino acids T24-T143 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the PTCRA antibody.
After reconstitution, the PTCRA antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
