Description

Arginine methylation is a widespread posttranslational modification mediated by arginine methyltransferases, such as PRMT8. Arginine methylation is involved in a number of cellular processes, including DNA repair, RNA transcription, signal transduction, protein compartmentalization, and possibly protein translation.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the PRMT8 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Recombinant human protein (amino acids M3-E171) was used as the immunogen for the PRMT8 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the PRMT8 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
