Description

PPA1 is a member of the inorganic pyrophosphatase (PPase) family. PPases catalyze the hydrolysis of pyrophosphate to inorganic phosphate, which is important for the phosphate metabolism of cells. Studies of a similar protein in bovine suggested a cytoplasmic localization of this enzyme. By radiation hybrid analysis, the PPA1 gene is mapped to chromosome 10q21.3.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the PPA1 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Amino acids E7-N236 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the PPA1 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the PPA1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
