RHO family interacting cell polarization regulator 2, also known as FAM65B and PL48, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RIPOR2 gene. This gene encodes an atypical inhibitor of the small G protein RhoA. Inhibition of RhoA activity by the encoded protein mediates myoblast fusion and polarization of T cells and neutrophils. The encoded protein is a component of hair cell stereocilia that is essential for hearing. A splice site mutation in this gene results in hearing loss in human patients.
Optimal dilution of the PL48 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids L362-D1020) was used as the immunogen for the PL48 antibody.
After reconstitution, the PL48 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
