GOPC Antibody / PIST Protein Antibody detects the Golgi associated PDZ and coiled-coil motif containing protein encoded by the GOPC gene. GOPC, also known as PIST, FIG and CFTR associated ligand, is a scaffold protein involved in intracellular protein trafficking and membrane receptor regulation. The protein contains a coiled-coil region and a PDZ domain that allow interactions with multiple cellular partners, helping coordinate protein sorting, localization and transport between intracellular compartments. GOPC is primarily associated with the Golgi apparatus and participates in pathways controlling vesicle movement and protein distribution.
