This gene is evolutionarily conserved, and its product is proposed to play a role in human cellular senescence and tumor suppression. Ant-iproliferative activity is reported to be localized to the 3' UTR, which is proposed to function as a trans-acting regulatory RNA. Several pseudogenes of this gene have been identified. [RefSeq]
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the PHB antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
1. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.
A recombinant human partial protein corresponding to amino acids 167-261 was used as the immunogen for the PHB antibody.
Store the PHB antibody at 2-8oC (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20oC or colder (without azide).
