PDGFR Alpha Antibody Overexpression WB. Western blot analysis of non-transfected HEK293 cells (lane 1) and HEK293 cells transiently transfected with human PDGFRA (lane 2) using PDGFR Alpha Antibody / Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Antibody demonstrates a strong immunoreactive band at approximately 120-130 kDa in the transfected sample. Minimal to no signal is observed in the non-transfected control, supporting specific recognition of PDGFRA. PDGFRA is a receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates platelet-derived growth factor signaling and regulates cellular proliferation, migration, differentiation, and survival. The detected band is consistent with recombinant expression of human PDGFRA and supports the specificity of the antibody for the target protein. Predicted molecular weight: 120-195 kDa, depending on glycosylation status and receptor maturation.

The staining pattern is consistent with expression of PDGFRA, a receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates platelet-derived growth factor signaling and regulates cellular proliferation, migration, differentiation, and survival. PDGFRA signaling contributes to communication between tumor cells and the surrounding microenvironment and has been extensively studied in cancer biology due to its roles in growth factor-mediated signaling and tissue remodeling. The observed staining supports expression of PDGFRA in prostate carcinoma-associated cellular populations.
