PDCL3 Antibody by IF in rat bladder tissue. Immunofluorescence analysis of paraffin-embedded rat bladder using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody shows strong red fluorescence within epithelial structures, with blue DAPI-stained nuclei outlining the tissue architecture. The merged image highlights PDCL3-associated staining around the epithelial cell layers and relatively less signal in surrounding tissue. Sections were subjected to heat-mediated antigen retrieval, blocking with 10% goat serum and overnight primary antibody incubation at 4oC. A fluorescent anti-rabbit secondary antibody was used to visualize the target-associated signal.
PDCL3 Antibody by IHC in mouse bladder tissue. Immunohistochemistry using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody demonstrates brown staining concentrated along the epithelial surfaces of folded glandular structures, with blue hematoxylin-stained nuclei visible in adjacent cells. Paraffin-embedded sections were subjected to EDTA-based heat-mediated antigen retrieval at pH 8.0, followed by blocking with 10% goat serum. Sections were incubated with 2 ug/mL primary antibody overnight at 4oC and developed with an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB. This view provides additional anatomical context for the observed PDCL3-associated signal.
PDCL3 Antibody by IF in cultured cells with alpha-tubulin counterstaining. Immunofluorescence analysis using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody demonstrates green PDCL3-associated fluorescence in cultured cells, together with red alpha-tubulin staining. The merged image shows green nuclear and perinuclear regions against a red cytoskeletal network, allowing comparison of the two cellular signals. Cells were blocked with goat serum and incubated overnight at 4oC with the target and alpha-tubulin primary antibodies. Fluorescent anti-rabbit and anti-mouse secondary antibodies were applied to visualize the corresponding targets.
PDCL3 Antibody by IP in MCF-7 cell lysate. Immunoprecipitation and Western blot analysis using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody demonstrates enrichment of a band near 34 kDa in the antibody immunoprecipitate compared with the control IgG condition. The input MCF-7 lysate contains a corresponding band at the expected PDCL3 position. The blot also shows an approximately 50 kDa IgG heavy-chain band in immunoprecipitated material, distinct from the target-associated signal. These data support recovery of PDCL3-associated protein from MCF-7 lysate under the tested immunoprecipitation conditions.
PDCL3 Antibody by WB in human cell lysates. Western blot analysis using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody detects a principal band near 34 kDa, consistent with the expected PDCL3 molecular weight. Lanes 1-4 contain A2780, COLO 320, MCF-7 and A549 whole-cell lysates, respectively. Reduced samples containing 30 ug protein per lane were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE and transferred to nitrocellulose. The primary antibody was incubated at 0.5 ug/mL overnight at 4oC, followed by HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and chemiluminescent detection. A comparably migrating PDCL3-associated band is visible in all four human cell lines.
PDCL3 Antibody by IHC in rat bladder tissue. Immunohistochemistry using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody shows brown staining along the epithelial lining of glandular structures, with hematoxylin counterstaining of surrounding nuclei. Paraffin-embedded sections underwent heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer, pH 8.0, and blocking with 10% goat serum. The primary antibody was applied at 2 ug/mL overnight at 4oC, followed by an HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit secondary antibody and DAB chromogen. The image illustrates PDCL3-associated staining in an organized epithelial compartment.
PDCL3 Antibody by IF in mouse bladder tissue. Immunofluorescence analysis using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody demonstrates red fluorescence in a folded epithelial structure with blue DAPI nuclear counterstaining. The signal follows the epithelial compartment and contrasts with adjacent regions showing comparatively little red fluorescence. Paraffin-embedded tissue underwent heat-mediated antigen retrieval and blocking before overnight incubation with primary antibody at 4oC. The target-associated fluorescence was detected with a labeled anti-rabbit secondary antibody. This image provides an additional view of PDCL3-associated staining within the tissue architecture.
PDCL3 Antibody by FACS in A2780 cells. Flow cytometry analysis using Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody demonstrates a blue antibody-stained A2780 cell population shifted to higher fluorescence relative to the green isotype-control and red unstained distributions. Cells were fixed, permeabilized and blocked with normal goat serum before incubation with 1 ug primary antibody per 1 x 10^6 cells for 30 minutes at 20oC. Fluorescent anti-rabbit secondary antibody was applied for 30 minutes. The histogram demonstrates PDCL3-associated intracellular staining relative to the two controls.

Description

PDCL3 Antibody / Phosducin-like protein 3 Antibody detects PDCL3, also known as viral IAP-associated factor 1 or VIAF. This protein belongs to the phosducin-like family and participates in the handling and stability of selected cellular proteins. Unlike a conventional metabolic enzyme, PDCL3 acts through interactions with molecular partners and has been linked to the maturation of signaling components. Its functions are best understood in the context of protein folding, protein quality control, and the maintenance of functional signaling complexes. The protein is related to other phosducin-like family members, but differences in their binding partners and cellular roles should not be overlooked.

An important reported function of PDCL3 involves its interaction with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2, also known as VEGFR2 or KDR. Studies have implicated PDCL3 in protecting newly synthesized VEGFR2 from premature degradation and supporting the abundance of this receptor. Because VEGFR2 transmits signals important for vascular development and endothelial responses, changes in receptor maturation can influence downstream signaling. PDCL3 has also been studied in connection with cellular stress responses and protein homeostasis. The precise impact of PDCL3 depends on the proteins available for interaction and the regulatory conditions of the cell.

Interest in PDCL3 extends to the coordination between receptor production, stability, and signal transmission. Protein expression alone does not determine signaling strength; folding, trafficking, and turnover can substantially alter the pool of functional receptors. PDCL3 illustrates how an accessory protein may influence these processes without itself functioning as a receptor or kinase. NSJ Bioreagents provides antibodies directed against this target as part of its protein biology portfolio. A PDCL3 Antibody is relevant to understanding phosducin-like protein function, receptor maturation, and the molecular control of cellular protein stability.
