PD-L1 Antibody PDL1/8222R in Human Tissues and Raji Cells WB. Western blot testing of PD-L1 Antibody PDL1/8222R / CD274 in human kidney, human lung and Raji B lymphocyte cell lysates. A prominent band is observed at approximately 50 kDa across the tested samples, above the predicted molecular weight of ~33 kDa for unmodified PD-L1/CD274. The higher apparent molecular weight is consistent with the established N-linked glycosylation of mature PD-L1. This PD-L1 Antibody demonstrates detection of glycosylated CD274 in human tissue and cell lysates.

Description

PD-L1 Antibody PDL1/8222R detects Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1, a checkpoint regulator in immune cells, it is expressed on immune or non-hematopoietic cells. Expression of the protein is seen during pregnancy where it has a role in suppressing the immune system. PD-L1 induces an inhibitory signal in activated T-cells and promotes T-cell apoptosis. It is overexpressed in a number of different cancers where it is believed to play a significant role in the cancers ability to evade the immune system.
