Parathyroid hormone (PTH), encoded by the PTH gene, is a peptide hormone secreted by endocrine chief cells of the parathyroid glands and functions as a major regulator of systemic calcium and phosphate homeostasis. Acting through coordinated effects on bone, kidney, and vitamin D metabolism, PTH maintains stable circulating calcium levels essential for skeletal integrity and cellular signaling. 1. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.
