Plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 RNA-binding protein (PAI-RBP1), also known as SERPINE1 mRNA binding protein 1 (SERBP1), is an RNA-associated regulatory protein involved in translational control, mRNA stability, stress-response signaling, and post-transcriptional gene regulation. PAI-RBP1 functions through interactions with specific mRNA transcripts and ribonucleoprotein-associated regulatory complexes that influence cellular adaptation pathways and translational signaling networks. PAI-RBP1 Antibody is useful for investigations involving RNA metabolism, stress-associated signaling, translational regulation, and post-transcriptional cellular control pathways.
PAI-RBP1 antibody, also referred to as SERBP1 antibody and Plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 RNA-binding protein antibody in the literature, recognizes a predominantly cytoplasmic RNA-binding protein encoded on chromosome 1p31.1. PAI-RBP1 localizes mainly within ribonucleoprotein-associated cytoplasmic compartments where it contributes to mRNA stabilization, translational regulation, and stress granule-associated signaling pathways. Expression of PAI-RBP1 has been associated with hypoxia-responsive signaling, tumor-associated translational reprogramming, and stress adaptation-associated regulatory networks.
PAI-RBP1 Antibody / SERPINE1 RNA Binding Protein Antibody (clone SERBP1/3492) is uniquely positioned for studies involving translational control pathways and RNA-associated signaling biology. This mouse monoclonal antibody demonstrates strong western blot and immunohistochemical detection together with highly selective HuProt(TM) microarray specificity validation against more than 19,000 full-length human proteins. The combined validation profile supports use of clone SERBP1/3492 in investigations involving post-transcriptional signaling regulation, translational control pathways, and stress-response-associated cellular adaptation.
Analysis of HuProt(TM) microarrays containing more than 19,000 individually purified full-length human proteins demonstrated highly selective recognition of PAI-RBP1/SERBP1 by clone SERBP1/3492. In HuProt(TM) analysis, the Z-score represents the strength of antibody binding signal relative to the overall array mean, while the S-score reflects target specificity relative to the next highest ranked protein signal. Elevated S-score separation supports preferential target recognition and reduced off-target binding across the tested human proteome. This specificity validation strategy supports highly selective detection of RNA-associated regulatory proteins in complex tissue systems.
PAI-RBP1 contributes directly to translational control and cellular adaptation pathways through interactions with mRNA transcripts associated with stress signaling, proliferation pathways, and hypoxia-responsive regulatory networks. Altered PAI-RBP1-associated signaling has been linked to tumor-associated stress adaptation and dysregulated post-transcriptional signaling biology. Because PAI-RBP1 functions within RNA regulatory networks controlling translational output, it serves as an important marker for investigations involving post-transcriptional signaling and translational regulation-associated cellular biology.
This PAI-RBP1 Antibody supports research involving translational control pathways, RNA metabolism-associated signaling, post-transcriptional regulation, stress-response-associated signaling, hypoxia-associated pathways, ribonucleoprotein biology, and cellular adaptation-associated regulation. Clone SERBP1/3492 may be incorporated into western blot, immunohistochemistry, and tissue-based investigations examining RNA regulatory pathway organization in normal and diseased tissues.
For highly specific detection of SERBP1-associated RNA regulatory signaling pathways, see our SERBP1 Antibody / mRNA Binding Protein Antibody page featuring clone SERBP1/3491 with WB, IHC, and HuProt(TM) microarray specificity validation data.
Optimal dilution of the PAI-RBP1 Antibody / SERPINE1 RNA Binding Protein Antibody should be determined by the researcher.
A portion of amino acids 3-139 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the PAI-RBP1 antibody.
