Description

The protein encoded by this gene is similar to oxoglutarate dehydrogenase (OGDH) of the OGDH complex, which degrades glucose and glutamate. This gene encodes several isoforms, including some that appear to localize to mitochondria. The encoded protein down-regulates the AKT signaling cascade and can suppress the growth of cervical cancer cells.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the OGDHL antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids M1-F1010) was used as the immunogen for the OGDHL antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the OGDHL antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
