NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase is an enzyme that catalyzes the two-electron reduction of quinones to hydroquinones, resulting in the activation or deactivation of the hydroquinone. Increased expression of NQO1 is seen in tumors of the breast, liver and colon and NSCLC (non-small cell lung cancer), suggesting a role in tumor development and possibly treatment. NQO1 has also been linked to Alzheimer's disease, found to be upregulated in response to the oxidative stress of the AD process.
Provided assay concentrations are suggestions only, NQO1 antibody titration may be required for optimal results.
A recombinant protein fragment from the C-terminal region of human NQO1 was used as the immunogen for this antibody.
Aliquot and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
